I Kicked Out My Widowed Dad & His Pregnant Wife after Discovering What She Did to My Little Sister

After our mother passed away, things changed in ways I never imagined. My younger sister, who was 16, and I were still grieving when our father remarried just six months after her death. He moved his new wife into our family home—our mother’s ancestral home. The house was supposed to stay in the family, and it was left to me, while my sister was given the vacation house. But everything got worse when the new wife started making changes. She removed all of Mom’s pictures and put them in my sister’s room, which hurt her deeply.

It wasn’t just the house that changed. The new wife was pregnant with twins, and that news devastated my sister. She was still struggling with depression from our mom’s death, and the idea of a new family felt overwhelming. So, she decided to throw a big 16th birthday party while Dad and his wife were on vacation. The next morning, they came home early to find teenagers passed out around the house. My sister’s stepmom completely lost it and started shouting at her. She even kicked my sister out, telling her she was just like our mother—a burden.

When I heard what happened, I was furious. I rushed home the next day and kicked both my father and his seven-month-pregnant wife out of the house. I didn’t care that she was pregnant—she had no right to treat my sister that way. I had the legal right to the house, and I told them they had one week to leave. My father called me a spoiled brat, but I didn’t care. I already had a lawyer ready to defend me. The situation was clear: my father should have stood up for my sister, especially since she was dealing with depression.

People in my life may see me as the villain, but I was doing what was right for my sister. Many people online agreed with me, saying my father allowed the situation to escalate too far and should never have let his wife speak to my sister like that. It was clear to them that my father and his new wife needed to be separated from us, and I was just protecting my family.
