How a Routine Flight Turned Into a National Tragedy Off the Coast of Honduras

A small Lanhsa Airlines plane crashed into the sea shortly after departing Roatán Island, Honduras, en route to La Ceiba, leaving the nation in mourning. The aircraft carried three crew members and fourteen passengers, with twelve confirmed fatalities, including two children and several foreign nationals.
