HORROR ON THE TARMAC: A Frontier plane’s engine shredded…

An unusual incident with a Frontier Airlines Airbus A320 (tail number N365FR) led to major delays at Charlotte Douglas International Airport on August 16, 2025. During pre-departure ramp operations, a ground air-conditioning hose was accidentally ingested by the aircraft’s #1 engine, causing extensive damage.
Flight F93134, originally scheduled from Charlotte to LaGuardia, was unable to operate due to the engine damage. Passengers were later moved to a replacement aircraft, which departed about nine hours after the original schedule.
