I ordered a pizza in the evening. The delivery driver brought it to me.

I opened my pizza box expecting a normal meal… but what I saw made me freeze.
The cheese was covered in strange, swollen bubble-like shapes rising from the surface. For a moment, I thought something had gone wrong—or worse, that it wasn’t safe to eat.
My appetite disappeared instantly as I stared at it, trying to figure out what I was looking at.
After a quick search online, I finally learned the truth: those “mystery bubbles” are just air pockets and steam trapped in melted cheese during baking.
Completely normal. Just weird-looking.
What felt unsettling at first turned out to be nothing more than a harmless cooking reaction.
I ended up laughing at myself… then eating the whole slice.
Sometimes, things only look strange until you understand them.
