A STRANGER SCREAMED AT MY DAUGHTER IN THE GROCERY STORE — SHE THOUGHT NO ONE WOULD FIGHT BACK. SHE WAS WRONG.

It was meant to be a quick grocery run when a stranger publicly harassed my 11-year-old daughter for having her service dog in training. While I was nearby, a woman loudly accused her of breaking rules, humiliating her until my child quietly left the store in tears.
I confronted the woman calmly but firmly in front of staff and shoppers, calling out her cruelty toward a child with a disability. The store manager intervened and asked the woman to leave.
Outside, I held my daughter as she finally cried—not from fear, but relief. Because no child should be shamed for needing support, and sometimes love means standing up, speaking out, and making sure your child knows they are never alone.
