An artist asked the gallery owner whether anyone had shown interest in the paintings currently on display.
“I have both good and bad news,” the owner said. “The good news is that a gentleman inquired about your work and asked if it would increase in value after your death. When I confirmed that it would, he bought all 15 pieces.”
“That’s fantastic!” the artist replied. “So what’s the bad news?”
