Three elderly men visit the doctor’s office for a memory test

Three elderly gentlemen go to the doctor for a memory evaluation.
The doctor asks the first man, “What’s three times three?”

“274,” he answers confidently.

The doctor sighs, glances up at the ceiling, and then asks the second man, “Your turn—what’s three times three?”

“Tuesday,” the second man responds immediately.

Shaking his head in disbelief, the doctor looks at the third man. “Okay, what’s three times three?”

“Nine,” the third man says.

The doctor beams. “Correct! How did you arrive at that?”

The third man smiles, “Simple—I just subtracted 274 from Tuesday.”
