My Son’s Bus Driver Said Four Words Before Driving Away – Minutes Later, I Called the Police
My seven-year-old son Ethan usually came home from school smiling, but one afternoon, he stepped off the bus silently and rushed inside. Before driving away, the bus driver whispered, “Don’t trust the nanny.”
Ethan begged me not to tell Melissa, our trusted nanny, that he had spoken. When I refused to let her take him to the park, she left—but remained parked across the street, watching our house.
I called the police. Ethan then pointed toward his backyard playhouse, where I found a hidden black bag. As I removed it, Melissa rushed into the yard and tried to stop me.
Inside, police found photographs of children, their schedules, a camera, and clothing. Melissa confessed that the bag belonged to her brother Darren, whom she had seen following the school bus. She stole it from his truck but hid it instead of contacting authorities.
