My wedding shoes were swapped out for a pair that was three sizes smaller. I went pale when I discovered who did this and why.

Just minutes before walking down the aisle, I slipped on my wedding shoes—only to find they were three sizes too small. I’d worn them the day before, so this wasn’t a mix-up. Someone had deliberately switched them.

Panic hit. I scanned the bridal suite. My maid of honor was just as confused as I was—until I noticed Ryan’s sister, Hailey, sitting calmly in the corner, smirking. She’d never liked me, but this crossed a line.

When I confronted her, she didn’t deny it. Instead, she whispered, “You don’t belong here.” Turns out, she was bitter that Ryan’s family adored me—and still hadn’t gotten over his ex.

But I wasn’t about to let her win.

With the whole room watching, I looked her dead in the eye and asked her for her shoes. Same size. Same vibe. She froze, but with no way out, she handed them over.

Minutes later, I walked down the aisle—in her heels.

When Ryan noticed, I just smiled and said, “Your sister wanted me to have something borrowed.”

She sat barefoot, furious, while I said “I do” in style. And during my toast, I made sure to thank the ones who tried to sabotage my day—for making it unforgettable.
