I told my best friend Taryn that I was scared my marriage to Graham might be ending. I made her promise to keep it private. The next afternoon, my mother-in-law called and ordered me to leave before Graham got home. Taryn swore she hadn’t told anyone, then invited me to stay with her.
Days later, I went to my mother-in-law’s house for answers and saw Taryn sitting inside. Graham found me soon after and showed me her messages. She had told him I’d been planning a divorce for weeks and urged him not to answer my calls.
