This morning, I went into my son’s room to clean.

 

At first, I thought I had found something serious in my home. My heart raced as I stared at pale, broken fragments scattered on the floor.

For a moment, my mind went to the worst possibilities.

Then I got closer.

And realized it was just old white chocolate that had changed in texture over time.

The relief hit me instantly—and I couldn’t help but laugh at how quickly fear can turn something ordinary into something far more dramatic in our minds.
