A rude attorney spent a few days in the hospital and quickly became a nightmare for the nurses. He complained about everything and treated the staff like his personal assistants.
One day, the head nurse walked in and said, “I need to take your temperature.”
After several minutes of complaining, she told him it couldn’t be taken orally. Still grumbling, he rolled over so she could take it the other way.
She inserted the thermometer, then said, “Stay exactly like that while I get something.” And she left the door wide open.
The embarrassed attorney waited as people walked by, staring and laughing.
Twenty minutes later, the doctor walked in.
The attorney snapped, “What? Haven’t you ever seen someone get their temperature taken?”
The doctor replied calmly, “Sure… but not with a daffodil.”
