When My Daughter Told Everyone I Was Pregnant — And She Was Right

When my daughter was 3, she told her preschool I was pregnant. I laughed it off—I was on birth control.
But I took a test anyway.
Two lines.
She insisted it was a girl and even chose a name: Mira.
Months later, Mira was born.
At age 5, she was diagnosed with leukemia. Our world fell apart. Hospitals. Chemo. Fear.
But she fought. And she won.
She went into remission. She danced again. She laughed again.
One day she said, “Thank you for letting me come.”
That’s when I knew—my daughter somehow knew her sister was coming… and that she’d need us.
Love brought her here. Love saved her.
Sometimes, miracles begin with a child’s belief. 💗
