My manager claimed he understood my need to prioritize my kids, then quietly pushed me out—cutting me from projects, meetings, and key clients at our Manchester marketing firm. I was sidelined, given meaningless tasks, and even forced to train a new graduate for the role I refused. What he didn’t realize was that this “busy work” exposed serious financial discrepancies and unethical management.
