Three brothers age 92, 94 and 96 live in a house together

One evening, the 96-year-old runs a bath, dips his foot in, and freezes.
He shouts downstairs, “Was I about to get in or get out of the tub?”

The 94-year-old replies, “No idea! I’ll come up and check.”
He starts climbing the stairs, pauses halfway, and calls out, “Wait… was I going up or coming down?”

Meanwhile, the 92-year-old is sitting at the kitchen table, sipping his coffee and listening to them.
He sighs and says, “I really hope I never get that forgetful.”
He knocks on the wooden table for luck.

Then he yells, “I’ll come help both of you—as soon as I answer the door!”
