An artist approached the gallery owner to ask if anyone had shown interest in his paintings.
“I have both good and bad news,” the owner said. “The good news is a man inquired about your work and asked if its value would rise after your death. When I confirmed it would, he purchased all 15 of your paintings.”
“That’s fantastic!” the artist said. “So what’s the bad news?”
