JOKE OF THE DAY: The Proposal He Forgot

In a Florida mobile home park, an elderly widower and widow—longtime friends—shared coffee, bingo, and laughter.
One evening, over lemon pie, he finally asked, “Will you marry me?” She smiled after a pause: “Yes. Yes, I will.”
The next morning, he couldn’t remember her answer. Embarrassed, he called her, and she laughed: “I said yes—but couldn’t remember who asked me!”
Later, they met for coffee, and he knelt again. “Will you marry me—just to be sure?” She laughed. “Yes—again!”
Weeks later, they wed in the community garden, surrounded by friends and laughter. A whiteboard read, “TODAY YOU’RE MARRIED — DON’T FORGET!”
Every morning, he’d ask, “Still married?” She’d grin, “As far as I remember.”
Their love proved that joy, laughter, and the chance to fall in love every day matter more than perfect memories.
