How to Sell a Bible

Three young boys were looking for a summer job. Their preacher needed help selling Bibles, so he quickly hired two of the boys. He hesitated about the third boy because of his speech difficulty, but he decided to give him a chance as well.
After a few days, they all gathered back at the church. The preacher asked the first boy, “How many Bibles did you sell?”
“Thirty-five,” the boy replied.
“Only that many?” the preacher asked.
He then asked the second boy the same question.
“Seventy-five,” he answered. The preacher nodded, pleased with the result.
Finally, he turned to the boy with the speech impediment and asked how many he had sold.
“I-I-I s-s-sold 175,” the boy stammered.
Amazed, the preacher asked how he managed to sell so many. The boy replied, “I-I-I t-t-told them t-t-to b-b-buy t-t-t-them or I w-w-would r-r-read it t-t-t-t-them!”
