An old man and woman were married for years

An elderly couple had been married for many years, despite their mutual hatred. Their arguments were loud and frequent, echoing through the night. Neighbors often heard the man shouting, “When I die, I’ll claw my way out of the grave to haunt you forever!”

People feared him, convinced he dabbled in dark magic, blaming him for disappearing pets and strange noises at odd hours. His reputation earned him a mix of fear and respect. Suddenly, he died under mysterious circumstances, and his funeral was held with a closed casket. After the burial, his wife headed straight to the local bar, celebrating wildly as if there was no tomorrow.

Her excessive partying alarmed the neighbors, who gathered to ask, “Aren’t you scared? Worried? What about the man who practiced black magic and promised to rise from his grave to haunt you?” Calmly setting down her drink, the wife replied, “Let him dig. I buried him upside down.”
