A boy was strolling down the street with a monkey perched on his shoulder when a policeman stopped him and said,
“Young man, you’d better take that monkey to the zoo.”
The following day, the boy walked past the same officer—monkey still on his shoulder.
The policeman called out, “Didn’t I tell you to take that monkey to the zoo?”
The boy replied, “I did! Today we’re heading to the movies.”
