Aunt Bessie loved to visit her nieces and nephews.

Aunt Bessie had family all over the country, but flying terrified her. Despite reassurances, safety briefings, and books on aviation, she couldn’t shake the fear that someone might bring a b*mb on board.
Hoping to ease her anxiety, the family sent her to a friend who was an actuary.
“What are the odds someone brings a b*mb on a plane?” she asked.
He replied, “Roughly one in 500,000.”
She paused. “And the odds of two people bringing one on the same flight?”
He smiled. “About one in a billion.”
From then on, Aunt Bessie brought her own b*mb whenever she flew—just to be safe.
