My Dad Invited My Brother and Me to His Wedding to the Woman He Cheated on Our Mom With, He Had No Idea He Would Regret It Soon

When my dad invited me and my 12-year-old brother Owen to his wedding, I expected pain watching him marry the woman who tore our family apart. But Owen had a plan that turned the day unforgettable.

I’m Tessa, 25, still healing from a childhood broken by Dad’s affair with Dana. Owen, once a joyful, gentle boy, went silent after the betrayal. When Mom found them together, her world shattered, and Dad left with Dana shortly after.

A year later, Dad called, inviting us to the wedding. Owen refused at first but gave in after family pressure—with a quiet determination.

Two weeks before the wedding, Owen ordered itching powder. On the big day, he politely helped Dana with her jacket, secretly slipping the powder inside.

During the ceremony, Dana’s skin flared up painfully, forcing her to flee. When she returned disheveled, the mood soured. Dad blamed allergies; I said nothing.

Afterwards, Owen told me, “She didn’t cry like Mom did. But she’ll never forget the feeling. That’s what I wanted—a taste of the pain Mom lived with.”

Now Dad won’t speak to us. Dana’s family calls us cruel. Our grandparents demand apologies. I didn’t plan it, but I didn’t stop it. I’m not sorry.

Because I remember Mom’s tears, Dad’s betrayal, and my brother’s silent plea for justice.
