True Story That Could Be on Netflix’s Must-Watch List
I was on the train when a man sat across from me, staring the entire ride. Feeling unsettled, I got off a stop early to avoid him. Just five minutes later, my husband called in a panic: “Were you just on the train?!” When I said yes, he blurted out, “Go back to the station—you just saw my boss and didn’t even greet him! He called me, upset about it!”
I was shocked and asked what he meant. Then he sent me a photo—and my blood ran cold. It was the same man who had been staring at me.
I told my husband his boss creeped me out and made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. He brushed it off, saying the guy just has an odd way of looking at people and meant no harm. Then he reminded me he’s been working toward a promotion and couldn’t afford to offend his boss. He asked me to return and say hello—said the boss might still be around. But I made it clear I don’t need to flatter someone who made me feel unsafe, and I ended the call.
