My SIL Hated Every Photo of Herself at Our Wedding & Demanded We Delete Them – But I Had a Better Idea

On what should’ve been a perfect wedding day, my sister-in-law Jenna spent the entire time complaining and pouting in photos. A few weeks later, she demanded we delete every picture she appeared in, even threatening to cut ties if we didn’t. My wife, Nina, was devastated—but I had a solution. The day itself had been beautiful: blue skies, blooming wildflowers, and joyful laughter—everything except Jenna’s sour attitude. Nina had gone out of her way to make her feel included, but Jenna found fault with everything.
When we got our photo gallery, Nina eagerly shared the link with the bridal party, Jenna included. Instead of gratitude, Jenna called in a rage about how she looked, insisting we remove her from all the photos. That night, I took matters into my own hands. Since Jenna was conveniently off to the side in most pictures, I cropped her out and reposted the edited versions. Jenna was livid, accusing us of trying to erase her from the family.
Surprisingly, Nina backed me. After years of dealing with her sister’s drama, she was done making excuses. While we faced some pushback from relatives, Nina stood her ground—and our relationship grew stronger with the clarity and peace that followed.
