Honeymooners Tried to Make My Flight Hell as Revenge – I Brought Them Back to Earth

They say love is in the air, but on my recent flight, it was chaos. I’m Toby, 35, and after a long trip overseas, I was eager to reunite with my wife and kid. But things quickly took a turn when two newlyweds, Dave and Lia, decided to turn my flight into their honeymoon.

I’d splurged on a premium economy seat for the 14-hour flight, so when Dave asked me to switch seats with Lia, who was sitting in economy, I politely declined. I told him I’d only switch for a thousand bucks. His face turned sour, and he muttered, “You’ll regret this.”

That’s when the chaos started. Dave hacked up a lung, loudly watched an action movie without headphones, and spilled pretzels all over me. Then, Lia joined him, sitting on his lap, giggling and carrying on like no one else was around. At my breaking point, I flagged down a flight attendant and told her they were turning the flight into their private honeymoon suite. She promptly moved them to the back of the plane.

Later, Lia faked an “emergency” to get to the front. I made sure to block their path and reminded the flight attendant they were already told to stay in the back. After a few more exchanges, they were finally sent back to economy for good.

As the flight ended, I couldn’t resist one last jab. “Hope you guys learned something today. Enjoy your honeymoon!” Dave just glared at me, but I left feeling victorious.

In the end, peace and a little karma prevailed, and I was reunited with my family.
