A Woman Kept Taking up Two Parking Spaces Outside a Boy’s School, Leaving His Grandmother Nowhere to Park – One Day, the Woman Came Out of the School and Screamed, ‘How Could You Do This?!’

A Woman Took Two School Parking Spaces—Then Blamed Me for Her Ban

After my daughter lost her husband, I began collecting my eight-year-old grandson, Oliver, from school. Every afternoon, a woman parked her expensive SUV across two spaces, forcing us to park blocks away.

When I asked her to move, she refused. “My car cost seventy thousand dollars,” she said, before mocking my old Corolla.

I reported the problem to the school. After she ignored a staff member’s instructions, the principal suspended her parking privileges for the rest of the week.

“You got me banned!” she shouted.

“I didn’t park your car,” I replied.

But Oliver wasn’t happy about our shorter walk. That evening, he explained that his dad used to ask him three questions on their walks home: What made you laugh? What was hard? What are you looking forward to tomorrow?

“I kept waiting for you to ask,” he said.

The woman eventually learned to park properly. And I learned to make time for the long walk—and the conversations Oliver needed.
