Every Babysitter We Hired Quit Without Explanation – So My Husband Wore a Wig and Applied for the Job

Every babysitter we hired quit without explaining why. One left after three days; another called me mid-shift, sobbing. All seven came from the same respected agency and said only, “I’m sorry… I just can’t do this.”
Our five-year-old daughter, Sophie, was well-behaved, the pay was generous, and our security cameras showed nothing unusual.
Determined to find answers, my husband wore a wig and glasses and applied to the agency as “Megan.” They hired him—but assigned him to another family.
Everything seemed routine until day five, when the director handed him a package.
“Deliver this before heading home. No questions. Leave it outside and go.”
He recognized the address immediately: it belonged to one of our former babysitters.
Instead of following orders, he parked in an empty lot, locked the car, and opened the envelope.
