More than 40 paintings by former President George W. Bush were displayed at the University of New England on August 6. The collection featured Kennebunkport’s coastline, harbor, local landmarks, and St. Ann’s Episcopal Church. Proceeds supported repairs to the
historic church after severe storms damaged its sea walls and outdoor chapel in 2024. Bush began painting after leaving the White House and often explores themes of faith, family, and community.
