MY HUSBAND’S FAMILY TREATED ME LIKE THEIR PERSONAL MAID EVERY SATURDAY—UNTIL I HANDED THEM

Every Saturday, my husband’s family came over and I spent hours cooking, cleaning, and serving while they relaxed and expected it.
When I finally told my husband I couldn’t keep doing it, he said, “We owe them this.”
So that weekend, I served a full meal as usual—then handed everyone a “service fee” menu listing the value of my cooking and cleaning.
The room went silent. No one argued, but people suddenly started helping clean.
Later, my husband was angry, but I calmly told him I was no longer going to be invisible or taken for granted.
