The U.S. Navy has identified Lt. Cmdr. Lyndsay Evans and Lt. Serena Wileman, both 31, as the aviators killed in an EA-18G Growler crash in Washington state. Both served with the “Zappers” squadron at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island.
The wreckage was found in difficult terrain, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation. The Navy is supporting their families as the aviation community mourns their loss.
