Comedian arrested for alleged drug possession during traffic stop

Comedian Paul Rodriguez was arrested in Burbank following a traffic stop that led to an alleged narcotics possession case, according to TMZ.
The 70-year-old says the drugs were not his and claims they belonged to a friend who was driving. He also accused officers of misconduct during the stop. Police cited and released him for misdemeanor drug possession, and the case is under review.
Rodriguez, known for a 40-year comedy career and roles in The Golden Girls and King of the Hill, says he is challenging the allegations.
