Gina Maria’s Pizza, a longtime favorite in Minnetonka and Eden Prairie, has permanently closed after financial troubles led to a Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing and millions in debt.
Known for its familiar presence in family meals and community routines, the sudden closure left loyal customers surprised and disappointed.
While the original restaurant will not reopen, a new business called Pizzas Gina has opened in the former Eden Prairie location, carrying forward some of the original flavors and offering a small sense of continuity for the community.
