Comedian Paul Rodriguez, 70, was arrested during a traffic stop in Burbank after police allegedly discovered narcotics in a vehicle he was riding in. Rodriguez denied the drugs were his, claiming they belonged to the driver and alleging he was treated unfairly during the stop.
He was cited and released on a misdemeanor drug possession charge, with the case under review. The arrest comes after a challenging period for the longtime comedian, who underwent quadruple bypass surgery in 2021 and recently lost a close friend.
