Fast Food Giant Closing Hundreds of Stores While Renovating Rest

 

Burger King is not shutting down despite viral rumors online. The chain is closing some underperforming locations as part of its $400 million “Reclaim the Flame” comeback strategy focused on restaurant upgrades, better technology, and faster drive-thru and delivery service. Burger King plans to modernize nearly 3,000 locations by 2026 to compete more aggressively with rivals like McDonald’s and Wendy’s.
