A devastating accident between a van and a truck on BR-251 in Grão Mogol (North Minas Gerais) turned Tuesday night into tragedy, killing 9 people and injuring 12 others.
Preliminary investigations by the Civil Police suggest the truck crossed into the opposite lane, causing a head-on collision with a van carrying workers returning to Ceará.
Authorities say tire marks and road evidence indicate the lane invasion may have been the key factor in the crash.
