Vice President Vance Signals 2028 Presidential Interest While Emphasizing Current Duties

Vice President JD Vance has hinted at a possible 2028 presidential run but says his focus remains on his current duties in the Trump administration.

In a recent interview with Lara Trump, he said politics will come later, stressing that “if we do a good job in 2025 and 2026, then we can talk about politics in 2027.”

Vance emphasized that any presidential bid would need to be earned and not assumed, noting strong competition within the Republican Party. He also praised President Donald Trump and highlighted the experience he is gaining as vice president.

While speculation about 2028 grows, Vance insists he is prioritizing governance over campaigning.
