Rescue teams in Lillooet have recovered three bodies after a deadly mudslide, with one person still missing following severe flooding along Highway 99.
Authorities say search efforts are now ending due to dangerous conditions and exhausted search areas. A woman’s body was also recovered earlier in the week from the same disaster zone.
Officials are working to identify the victims and notify families as Highway 99 remains closed indefinitely.
