The Divorce That Saved Our Marriage

My husband and I were once married, then divorced, and eventually found our way back to each other—but only after a painful turning point.

During my pregnancy, his behavior changed and our relationship became emotionally overwhelming. I felt disconnected, so I made the difficult decision to leave.

We spent 18 months apart, both going through therapy, reflection, and personal growth. Even during separation, the love never fully disappeared.

When we reconnected, we chose to rebuild our marriage the right way—with honesty, boundaries, and couples therapy.

Now, three years into our second marriage, we’re stronger, healthier, and more connected than ever.

Lesson: Sometimes walking away isn’t the end of love—it’s the beginning of rebuilding it the right way. ❤️
