What started as a normal afternoon at a QuikTrip near 32nd and L Streets in Omaha quickly turned into a major police emergency.
Authorities say multiple officers were injured during a shootout with a suspect linked to an earlier grocery store shooting the same day.
Police tracked the suspect to a restroom inside the gas station. When he exited, he opened fire, prompting officers to respond, killing the suspect.
