Popular Steakhouse Brand Undergoes Nationwide Operational Changes

In 2020, Logan’s Roadhouse shocked the restaurant industry by suddenly closing all 261 locations, leaving around 18,000 employees without jobs during the COVID-19 crisis.
The brand’s parent company filed for bankruptcy, but the story didn’t end there.
Soon after, new ownership under SPB Hospitality stepped in, reopening many locations and rebuilding the chain.
Today, Logan’s Roadhouse operates about 135 restaurants across 22 U.S. states, focusing on steaks, grilled favorites, and casual dining.
Its journey is a powerful example of how major restaurant brands can collapse—and still make a comeback.
