I Won’t Hand Over a Dime to My Late Husband’s Secret Child

Almost four years after my husband passed away, leaving me to raise our 8-year-old son alone, a shocking claim surfaced that changed everything I thought I knew.

A court notice arrived requesting a DNA test for another child allegedly connected to my late husband. Soon after, a woman came forward claiming her child was his—backed by a DNA test and a demand for a share of his estate.

But there was one problem: there was no estate to divide. My husband had nothing of value. The only shared asset we once had—a rental property from his parents—legally transferred to me after his passing.

Now, after selling it, I’ve secured my son’s future.

While some have judged my decision, I’ve already confirmed everything is legally sound with my attorney. My priority has always been, and will always be, my child.
