The Night I Learned Not to Judge Too Quickly

Alone at 3 a.m., I thought I was in danger.
A taxi driver followed me up to my 8th-floor apartment. My heart raced—I assumed the worst.
But he wasn’t there to harm me. He was holding my dropped wallet, with my ID, cards, and a photo of my late dad, safe and intact.
He said quietly, “I didn’t want someone else to find it before you did.”
That night taught me a powerful lesson: fear can fool us, but kindness still exists—even in the darkest hours.
