Urgent Recall: Floria Dried Apricots May Cause Severe Reactions
Health officials are warning families nationwide: Turkan Food Inc.’s Floria Dried Apricots are being recalled in 19 states due to undeclared sulfites. The affected apricots, marked with a November 2026 expiration date (Lot 440090478-15-333, UPC 2539560010), can trigger serious allergic reactions, especially in people with asthma or sulfite sensitivity.
The fruit looks normal, but even a single handful could cause hives, stomach cramps, or breathing difficulties. No illnesses have been reported yet—but authorities urge do not eat, check your pantry, and return for a full refund immediately.
For families with children, elderly relatives, or allergy sufferers, this is not a risk to take lightly.
