An active shooter incident shook Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital just north of Detroit early Thursday morning, triggering panic and a full lockdown around 7:08 a.m.
Authorities confirmed the suspect, a hospital employee, shot a 25-year-old coworker twice in the arm inside the parking garage. The victim was rushed to the emergency department, stabilized, and is expected to recover. Police quickly apprehended the suspect without further incident.
