Two couples hosted a friendly dinner party. During the meal, Jim accidentally dropped his napkin — and noticed something shocking about his friend Bob’s wife, Sue.
Later, Sue teased him about it and made a bold offer: $500 for a private meeting while Bob was at work. Tempted, Jim agreed.
Friday afternoon, he showed up, paid the $500, and left thinking he’d gotten exactly what he wanted.
That evening, Bob casually asked Sue, “Did Jim stop by?”
“Yes,” she replied nervously.
“And did he give you $500?”
She froze — “Yes…”
Bob smiled. “Good. He borrowed $500 from me this morning and said he’d drop it off at the house.”
