An active shooter incident at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital, near Detroit, caused panic early Thursday morning around 7:08 a.m. Shots were fired in the parking garage by a hospital employee, who targeted a 25-year-old coworker and wounded him in the arm.
The victim was rushed to the emergency department and is now in stable condition. Authorities quickly locked down the hospital, arrested the suspect without further violence, and launched an investigation.
