During a religion class, Sister Bridgette asked her third-grade students, “When you die and go to heaven, which part of your body goes first?”
Suzy raised her hand and said, “Your hands—because when you pray, they’re already reaching toward God.” The nun smiled and praised her thoughtful answer.
Then Little Johnny spoke up. “I think it’s your legs.”
Confused, Sister Bridgette asked why.
Johnny replied, “I walked past my parents’ room one night, and my mom was yelling, ‘Oh God, I’m coming!’ with her legs in the air. If my dad hadn’t stopped her, we might’ve lost her.”
