Washing The Dog

A seven-year-old walked into the grocery store one day, carrying a box of laundry detergent. When the grocer warned him it was too strong to wash his dog, the boy simply ignored him and paid for it anyway.

A week later, the boy returned to buy candy. The grocer cautiously asked about the dog. “Oh, he died,” the boy replied.

Trying not to sound smug, the grocer said, “I told you not to use that detergent.”

The boy shook his head. “I don’t think it was the detergent. I think it was the spin cycle!”

Sometimes, kids see the world—and laundry—very differently.
