A Difficult Neighbor Repeatedly Disrupted My Yard — How I Finally Restored Peace as a Single Mom

I’m a single mom raising two small kids after their father disappeared. We live in the modest house my grandmother left me — safe, simple, and full of memories.
During winter trash pickup, my neighbor repeatedly drove over my lawn, knocking over my trash bins and scattering garbage where my kids play. I noticed the tire tracks matched his truck, but when I confronted him, he denied everything and kept doing it.
So I documented it. I secured the bins, set my phone to record, and waited. The next morning, he hit them again — loudly and on camera.
After that, I filed a report and notified the HOA. The damage stopped immediately.
My lawn is safe again, my kids play freely, and my neighbor now drives very carefully. Being a single mom doesn’t mean being weak — it means knowing when and how to stand your ground.
