At a seminar for elderly women on maintaining a loving marriage, the speaker asked,
“How many of you love your husbands?”
Every hand went up.
Then she asked, “When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?”
Some said today, others yesterday, and a few couldn’t remember at all.
The speaker gave them a simple task:
Send your husband a text saying, ‘I love you, sweetheart.’
Afterward, the women were told to swap phones and read the replies out loud.
